Gavin Hanaman - About Me

My name is Gavin Hanaman. I am in my junior year at Cedarburg high school. My sophomore year I was honored to start on varsity at defensive tackle. Playing varsity football as a sophomore set me ahead of a lot of kids in my class physically and mentally. I learned to challenge myself every rep, practice or game. I also pride myself in the classroom being on the honor roll every semester. After football season I am in the weight room every day after school. During spring you can find me back on the football field playing lacrosse. I played my first year on JV as a very physical defensive player.

During summer I am in the weight room every day at 7 am ready to work. After the lift I would often be on field doing drill work with my cousin who is a former 2x all state and defensive lineman of the year for the north shore conference. This year I am honored to be elected captain by my football team. I am starting at defensive tackle and center this season. I plan on showing all the work I put in on the field.

Aside from sports I spend my time outdoors , fishing , hunting and kayaking. I enjoy the company of my family and friends whenever I can. It’s very important to me that I further my education in college. Not sure where that will take me but hopefully helping people as a firefighter or possibly in sports medicine field.
